Where's the rationale when bombing Libya but not Syria?

To be blunt and honest there are many reasons. America is coming off to small 3rd world countries as an empire trying to conquer them. They believe that we are crusading which is the opposite of what we are trying to accomplish. We are wanting nato and other middle eastern nations to take up part of it instead of putting all the work on our military and our already broken economy. We just can't afford to. And if we help another country such as Syria we would have to help and bomb all middle eastern countries going threw the same crisis. We are trying to pull out of the middle east not be stuck there for the next 100 years. Now I'm not saying we shouldn't help them but we are in a position where we can't.. Our country has lost it's stomach for it. It costs millions of dollars each week to keep planes in the air in just one country. As for the whole republican democrat thing I honestly don't care for either one. Neither of them can work out there problems to save our country so ya.. And people in other countries may hate us but even with our broken economy we give regions like Pakistan billions of dollars in aid. Even thow they hide our enemy's and offer to sell our technology to china. ;)
