What type of animal is this?

I was in my house and I saw movement in my yard so I went to check it out. I was at a distance of course! And it was some weird looking animal I had never seen before in my life! It looked like a large porcupine but it had no quills and it had a very long snout. It freaked me out. And I didn't see any eyes, that doesn't mean there wasn't any though. They were probably just really small. Can someone please tell me what this is!
