Is the claim that an infant is an atheist any more outrageous than the claim that an infant can be a Christian?

Since we can't actually ask a baby and find out its an academic question. I don't think its fair to call a baby an atheist because they don't believe in God any more then its appropriate to call an ant an atheist for not believing in God a being needs the ability to reason to have an oppinion on something.
