Hey everyone so in the past couple of weeks i've found myself addicted to pot, smoking at least once a day, but not that much because I don't have the money to support such an expensive habit. I smoke maybe a gram or two a day, sometimes more, and im 16 year old male. I first tried it when I was 14 but never really did it much until this year. I am very happy with my life and have great friends, family and got my **** sucked twice today so i'm on top of the world right now. All my life my parents have told me the importance of staying in school and getting a good education and it really has stuck with me. I have an 87 average right now with all academic classes and it's only getting higher based on previous trends in my marks. I want nothing but to succeed and enjoy life while we still have it, I am in no sort a criminal of any kind. I have never done anything illegal other than underage drinking and smoking weed and I plan to keep it that way. When I'm older I want to be a dermatologist or a computer engineer. I already research and study both topics, and even build/take apart computers with ease when I feel like it. I also skateboard an average of 4 hours a day and play guitar about 1-2 hours a day, both of these hobbies are my passion and it's what I love to do. On top of that, I take more than enough brain supplements every day and I feel smarter than ever. Recently though, smoking weed has just become a daily routine for me and a part of life. They say weed affects everyone differently, and for me it gives nothing but good feelings and a natural relaxation that none but the infamous Mary Jane can offer. I do not ever recall becoming paranoid from smoking, and whenever I am feeling down, a toke or two keeps me happy all day long. I am also a huge rock and metal lover, with much love for brilliant bands like Porcupine Tree, who have inspired me to make music a huge part of my life (with the help of mary jane of course). However, I'm scared all of this smoking now will seriously harm my growing and brain development that I need for my future years. Based on the information I have given to you about myself and my intentions, goals and dreams etc... Do you think I will be ok in the future? I really want to succeed as a person, but I love smoking weed too, I am happy sober and even happier high... which is a crucial balance every pot smoker must maintain to keep your life in order.

Christians: Is it possible to be a lawyer and adhere to Christianity?

Personally I don't think a lawyer who takes cases to trial can be a good Christian because he often lies, or withholds truth and does it for money, not justice. He will even defend a criminal whom he knows to be guilty, if he gets enough of a fee. If you can't pay, he won't defend you. A lawyer who is in a different field may be able to hold to Christian values, maybe. I've been friends with a couple of lawyers, they have bragged to me about some of their cases that they won, and I know how they think and don't agree with them. God bless.

Yeah, these are real laws. Some of them have probably been repealed (because they were probably first passed over a hundred years ago), but others are probably still real laws. HOWEVER.... I doubt anybody gets ticketed for it. I've heard that it costs a lot of money to rewrite law books & small towns just don't have that kind of money. And it's probably really small towns that have all these laws. So to save the town money, they just ignore the stupid laws rathering than officially repealing them.

Porcupine quill stuck in dog after vet?

1 year old German Shepherd met first porcupine on Tuesday. Trip to vet to remove nose-full & some inside his mouth. It appears now that the vet missed one on his nose. He has a large lump and I accidentally bumped his nose and he yelped. The dog is still on pain meds but I'm concerned about this large lump that obviously contains a quill. Hello, I am a father of four beautiful children and married ten years to my wife.I wrote a question earlier but i didn't really give a lot of back round.My wife lost her her sister due to a battle of cancer she only was diagnosed 8 months ago but sadly she lost the battle and its really made my wife down as they grew up together .she left behind a beautiful baby boy who is only a year and a half we found out her sister never decided who would take care of her child after because the death was so sudden .We are from ireland i myself am not irish in from the Netherlands and im dutch .i myself have no problem with taking in the child me and my wife love children and before this happened we were trying for our fifth child for over a year but have found it hard to conceive.I admit we are not perfect but i think we should keep him in the blood.we have good jobs im an accountant my wife's a nurse and i hope that way it will stand good for us so if we decide to we can get custody i think it will be up in court in about 3 to four weeks time im not 100% sure.I've not mentioned it yet with my wife but i am going to after i get advice.The child is with his Grandparents at he moment,his father is not in the picture as he didn't want to get involved when he was born.I think we can cope very well with this child as our oldest is nine down to age four so they too are fit to care and help this child when growing up .What i am wonder is would my nationality stand as im not irish but taking custody of an irish child? would we be too old to adopt im 43 my wife is 32? Hi. I just went on a diet where I can't eat any grains (and yes, quinoa, millet, etc... are grains). I have been basically living on salads, and I am tired of them. I want some new recipes that I could try and make that adhere to all my restrictions. My restrictions are: No grains (not even healthy ones like oatmeal, rye, rice, quinoa, wheat, sesame, hemp, barley, kamut, polish wheat, egyptian wheat, buckwheat, sorghum, millet, amaranth, tapioca, potato, and bran), no starches (i.e. potato, tapioca, etc...), no dairy, no soy (which pretty much rules out all dairy substitutes as well), no xanthan gum (or any other corn products), no meat, and no sugars (includes hidden and artificial sugars, honey, and maple syrup. The only sugar substitute I am allowed to use is Stevia). Basically, I can eat veggies, beans, nuts, fruits, squash, and coconut. I especially want some bread recipes or something of the sort. Spray adhesive is the only thing that I can think of that might work, although that will likely remain slightly tacky. You could also get spray glitter, which is basically just glitter combined with a spray adhesive. That doesn't stay tacky after drying (although I've never tried it on patent leather).

My current story is set in a European circus, so the characters are all from different parts of Europe. Three are Polish, 2 are Norwegian, 1 is Irish but she doesn't speak much, 1 is Macedonian, but her accent is a mix between Greek and Polish, 1 is German, and 1 is Portuguese. i have no idea how to write their accents because they speak English around the circus site and their native language sometimes. In case you were wondering, the girl with a Polish and Greek accent is both Polish and Macedonian so she has a mixture of her mother's and her father's accents.

Hot compress Dog with drain in neck?

My dog had an extra porcupine quill in his neck (vet missed it) which turned into an infection the size of a baseball. Vet has lanced and placed a drain in his neck. I'm supposed to hot compress every a.m. and p.m. and "wiggle' the drain each time. Has anyone else done this and have any advice? Just so you know it's a lot like Kung Fu panda... Ok so it's 2015 and in china there is a master and his student. The master teachers Kung Fu to his one student and teaches him the way of fighting style of the tiger. But there's 5 other styles: crane, mantis, snake, dragon and monkey and the descendants of those fighting styles are around the world. So he sends his student on a quest with a coin(idk) that tells who the descendants are. He finds all but the dragon and returns home. They introduce themselves and learn their animal styles and why they were chosen: for the tiger he is fast, naive, and wants to be the leader, as for the monkey he is the laughing stock and a disappointment to others, while the crane she is flexible and always wins but gets lonely and has a hard time making friends, and the mantis he is small and is teased/mocked because of it. And lastly the snake, he is moody and misunderstood. Then something happened to sensei and remembered who the dragon was-his evil older brother who abuses the dragons power(the strongest animal). The master trains the students in hopes to defeat the evil dragon and have a new descendant of the dragon fighting style. I want to lose weight soooo bad. I am 30 pounds overweight and have been so for 2 years. I started working out for a couple of months but left it due to the insignificant amount of food I was consuming which led me to become very weak. The reason why I haven't been able to adhere to a constant workout schedule is because I simply do not know what to eat! I need a sufficient workout plan that will keep me sustained until I shed at least 20-25 pounds. It is obvious one will not be able to lose weight if they gorge on junk food and then runs a mile. It may or may not be a coincidence depending on what you had been eating when you noticed the pain start. It is quite possible you have something stuck in there if you have any pocketing spaces between your gum and your tooth. Or it is possible that it is unrelated and it's just an infection or abcessed tooth. You didn't say how old you are but if your wisdom teeth are not fully erupted that could be a source of your pain as well. There is no way to know for sure with out seeing a dentist and leaving it alone and treating it at home is not going to help anything. The mouth is a gateway to the rest of the body so if you have any infection in your mouth and you don't treat it it can easily lead to other infections and sickenesses. If you have no insurance try to find a free or low cost dental clinic in your area. You should go to the ER either way, most hospitals have a Dental Staff or residents who can treat you for this issue. If none of those are options call some dentists in the phone book and ask if they do payment plans or offer any discount rates for people who don't have insurance. Either way they have to treat you. Don't let this go, it's not going to get better on it's own. Good luck.

Also, it really helps to have visuals, so I'm only going off by your description. What I'd suggest is maybe printing out some of the things you want and taping them to the wall so you can see what you like or what idea needs to be scrapped.

I have an unusual home. It has a Porcelain tile roof (16ft x 30ft) surrounded by shingles on the perimeter. Water is leaking thru the grout and both getting into my home and staining the shingles. Oil-based polyurethane over paper decoupage?

I'm thinking of decoupaging a formica table I have using pages from old books. (After some research into the durability of painted formica, I think the decoupage may actually hold up BETTER to scratches, and I figure if I seal it well it'll be fine.) I'm a little concerned about the durability of water-based sealants, though, and I suspect oil-based varnish would hold up better. But is it going to eat through the paper or anything weird like that? If I seal the paper well with acrylic medium first, can I use an oil-based polyurethane over it? Will it adhere, and if so will it do any damage to the paper below? I really like this table and I don't want to ruin it.

Something wrong with my porcupine puffer?

this morning i went to check on my fish and i thought my puffer was dead but i showed him the food cup and he immediately got up thinking i was going to feed him like he always does when he sees it. i took the cup away and he acted dead again. i dont know if he is just lazy or if hes sick. he never really was an active swimmer and i always thought this was because they are nocturnal and he is usually more active at night. i have had him in my 110 gallon tank for about 10 months now and he was always lazy but i never thought he was dead before. i did notice white spots on him but they have been there for well over a month and in my experience with salt water ich he would be dead by now if he had it. they also seem to come and go and they are not in the usual places like the fins or near the gills which is where i find ich to be the worst. his eyes look clear and healthy also. he also eats like a pig as usual. he did have ich before i bought him at the pet shop but they held onto him for me and got him better. he was extremely thin when i bought him and now he is nice and fat. so do you think he is sick or just being very bummish today? thanks for your help!

Am I just "pregnant" or do I really hate my husband?

I'm just so frustrated. I understand that he has mental problems, but I simply cannot stand it anymore. I feel bad that he has no where to go, but I can't stand him being around me. I'm stuck between that proverbial rock and a hard place and really would like an outside perspective. I honestly do not even like him, ever, at all anymore. Why Can't the Weather Just Adhere to the Norms?

Yeah, I hear you. I live in Alberta, and we've been having crazy weather this winter. We haven't had this much snow here in almost 30 years. Then after this bad snow storm in early January, we had this awful cold snap where the daily HIGHS were in the -20s (Celsius), some days with wind chills in the -30s for an entire week. It was brutal. In the last few weeks, we've been having extreme temperature swings. For example, two weeks ago we had one day where it was 10 degrees C, then a couple days later it was minus 30. I'm in Calgary, so we get chinooks that bring warm air over the Rockies, and can cause really sudden temperature increases, but this year has been bad even for Calgary. We have a saying that you can experience all four seasons in one day here. And there's really no such things as "spring" or "fall" either. We had snow at the end of may last year--I was digging my car out from underneath 3 foot drifts. I guess it just to the point where you no longer have any expectations of normality at all...

What can help my legs from Bleeding and breaking out When I Shave?

Ok so I have very thick hairs on my legs. My legs are very sensitive to the point that when i shave i have Little to alot of bleeding breakouts..It's so embarrassing because i have little tissues all over my legs and then the next day i have dried blood spots so I don't even want to wear shorts. And then when I shave around my Bikini area I get alot of breakouts..I can't use nair because that breaks me out. I have tried creams, different shaving lotions, and nothing works. And when I do shave the next day i feel like a porcupine..And I have tried to shave everyday but then my breakouts are even worse. I'm sure many humans have heard by this current interval about the presumed hypothesis regarding the Rapture that's supposed to occur on Saturday May 21st, 2011 at approximately 6:00 p.m. These calculations have been made by a Theologian named Harry Camping. Camping allegedly is basing all of his mathematics off of specific biblical numerical codes that are referred to in the scriptures of the Bible. His organization is claiming that the tribulation period that's distinctively described as being a seven year period of grief, and anguish in the New Testament book of Revelations is actually a twenty-three year period. I can already point out the slightest bit of miscalculations, and contradictions of his predictions if he based it solely off of the numerical values that are vividly conveyed in the Bible. I consider myself to be a true sovereign servant of God, and I valiantly attempt to adhere to his will. I'm affiliated with the protestant denomination of Presbyterianism which is a subsidiary of Calvinism. I believe that our Lord Savior Jesus Christ atoned for all of the sins of humanity, and resurrected after the third day as he transcended into the afterlife to grace his Father, and our Creator's glorious presence. Despite my clear, public display of credence, I'm still petrified by the presumed apocalypse that's supposed to occur. But, even Jesus said that in the hour of the real apocalypse many deceivers will come as false prophets. And Jesus suggested that not even he, nor the rest of humanity knew the approximate minute of the destruction of our physical realm, except for our creator (God). That makes logistical sense considering every time Humanity has attempted to mimic God's eternal abilities, it's always resulted in disaster. This Theologian has been incorrect before from his initial analysis in the early 1990's, whenever he indicated that the rapture would occur on 9/6/1994 A.D., and nothing occurred. Considering the fact that the eastern Pacific is thirteen hours ahead of the eastern United States' time zone, and all. Whenever it's in the early hours of the morning at 5:00 a.m. EST, then Japan should be receiving a significant amount of seismic activity. I'm not extremely petrified by this presumption, but I'm just scared that I'll be left behind if it actually happens. Camping said that only three percent of the world's population (roughly 200,000,000 million inhabitants) would actually be raptured, and ascend into heaven. I disagree with him on that particular issue. Even if our physical realm has become excessively progressive, and secular there's more than just 200,000,000 million true servants of God. However, coincidentally enough, a magnitude 6.0 earthquake struck the mainland Japanese peninsula last evening. It does cause the raise for concerns. Again, I'm not on here to argue religion, or any preferred denomination with any other user on this social networking site. I'm just curious as to what others think about this. Personally, a lot of his doctrines do sound insane, but there's a legitimate amount of suspicion with them as well. Again, please read all of what I've conveyed here before starting an argument with me. The same goes with agnostics, and atheists. You have an opinion, and you exist in society. Modern Physics verifies the creation of the Universe with the assistance of a divine force with the first law of Thermodynamics. That's the actual technical definition of God. I have heard some people say that melting ice doesn't have an impact on sea level so I was wondering... If snow is ice and snow and ice can be found on land, when they melt does it flow uphill or something? I was told that it doesn't increase sea levels. Porcupine quills in my dog?? Help!?

So today, my 9 month old puppy had an incident with a porcupine. This is the first time it has ever happened to any of my dogs. She has about 15 quills stuck in her nose, mouth and chin. The poor girl is so annoyed by them, and she wants them out! The bad thing is that she will not let me take them out. I managed to get 3 out already, but now she wont let me go near her face. She is a large pup, 67 pounds and still growing! And she struggles away and slips out of her collar. But after she gets away, i see her trying to get the quills out herself. I am only a teenager, and my parents are gone for a vacation and wont be back until this friday. So i am unable to bring her to the vets, because i am still too young to drive. I am really hoping someone could give me some advice about this! I really hate to see her with quills in her face, but i cant do anything about it! Is there a way to stop the pain, or someway to put her out(like they do when they get a dog fixed). Would it be bad if i just left the quills in until friday when my parents come back? Or should i try do something before? Please help me out! :S

At age 35 I feel kind of stupid having to ask for help in this forum. Im openly gay for over 10 yrs. I have had quiet a few relationships, only two of'em formal. Four yrs ago I met this girl into a pet owner forum, since we both are pet lovers, and we started a friendship. At that time I didn't know she was also gay. I liked her since day one, though Im really not into developing crushes into straight women. When I knew she was gay I started to develop a more deeper relationship with her, but never mention love. Was kind of just flirting. She was really nice to me, continuously sending nice messages and stuff. She said to me, she like to get to know people real well before becoming anything more than that. I absolutely agree. So we met at different pet owners activities and so. She is kind of shy, though, she has a really strong character. So, two yrs went by and I still kept there waiting for something to happen. At that time, a lot a things went wrong in my life and I decided to move out of the Country. I told her and she never believed me. She said I would never do that. Though, I did. I stay out of the Country for over a year and came back. She didnt even wanted to talk to me. She only did because of common friends we have. So, we engage together in voluntary work for pets, this time all alone. She told me she got really mad at me for leaving. She then again started sending me nice messages and songs. When we finished the voluntary job, we decided to open a pet oriented business together. We have being doing this for five months now and we have started to fight a lot, and is not for business issues, but personal. I have turn a little cold into her since nothing has happened in almost four years, I dont expect nothing to happen ever. I know for sure we both have been behaving like little girls, since I am 35 and she is 43! I have never in my hole life have found a woman so difficult to understand a please. She says the same thing about me being a "sea porcupine". Still Im pretty sure I am into her. When we fight, I only want to stop and kiss her. We both know "something" is happening between us but, while arguing we both say we don't know what it is. The only time we got close to being truth to each other, we both had a few extra drinks, but we weren't drunk. I have even blame it into astrology because she is a Gemini and I am a Pisces. But I know is not. I know for sure asking if she's into me is the answer but I really dont' want to jeopardize our business relationship and make her uncomfortable. Well, sounds pretty stupid to me and I wont judge you I you tell us to grow up. I have to admit again I have never ever had such kind of awkward relationship but for some reason I just can't let it go.
