I applied for a personal loan with a cosginer from my California credit union. They sent me a confirmation email saying they received the application. I waited a week and received no communication accepting or denying my application. Ive called multiple times and have been told a loan agent was reviewing the application and would call me within an hour but that call never comes. Are there time limits that banks have to follow in regards to this types of decisions? Are there Bill of Rights for banking customers that banks need to adhere to?
