Do people ever feel shame for coming to a country, using its resources and claiming to hate it?

Anyone anywhere...like a Brit going to Australia for work, an Irish person going to England, a Philippine going to the USA? I was curious because I am German living/working in America but I love Germany and I feel I am using America...I have started to feel a little guilty.
