Default Judgement Now What?

I recieved notice yesterday that I have a default judgement against me. The amount is about $1800, plus court fees. I have been trying to work the situation out with the company and behind my back they filed in court and won a judgement. What are my options now? I do not want my wages garnished. I live in Kentucky but work in Indiana, which garnishment law are they required to adhere to? Do I have any options at this point? I am going to try to contact the company and see if they will work out a payment plan, but the last time I talked to them they want an exorbitant amount that I can't afford as I am paying off student loans and am currently very very pregnant. Any help is very much appreciated! :)
